Condoléances
It's taken me a few days since the launch of the site to get my thoughts in some kind of order.
Tiffany you've been so brave and gracious. After just losing your Mom, the loss of Robert is more than any person should have to endure. Yet here you are. I see the pain in your eyes each day, yet there you are smiling and thanking visitors, accepting calls, welcoming strangers into your home and taking care of all the details for Roberts final resting day. Robert would be so proud of how brave you've been. In the days to come and many after when you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. Hold on to all those memories and know that Robert will continue to guide you in every act, thought and decision you make. His love leaves an indelible imprint in your memories. If the future seems overwhelming, remember that it comes one moment at a time. XOXO
Madison and Austin-
You were your Daddys greatest treasures. I know this is all so scary, sad and just to much to have to deal with. You miss your Daddy and nothing can fix that hurt. Your Mommy is so brave and she's going to hold you both tight in the days to come and try to ease your pain the best she can. Maybe the stars above arent stars at all , but hugs and kisses from our loved ones we have lost. Hugs and kisses from your daddy shining down on you letting you know he's ok and always looking after you both. Daddy will always be in your heart and each time you smile and laugh it will make him happy, he loved when you both were happy and laughing. Remeber all your great memories about daddy and with daddy and write them down in a notebook everyday and when your feeling sad read your notebooks to each other and laugh and smile about all the great things you did with him or about him then you will have those notebooks forever. You can even add pictures. I'm sure mommy can make you copies of any you'd like to put in your books. Lots of people are thinking about you and praying for you and your never alone. Your daddy's police family is also your extended family. I'm sending you both big hugs and I will see you soon! XOXO

Traffic Ops boys |

Opie, your time here with us has come to an end. I will always remember being out in the late night hours on the roads of Charles County with you and the traffic ops boys. I have known you for many years and of all those years you always had a smile on your face. Even though what you did while you were in traffic ops never had a good ending you always knew how to make the best of it. I will never forget you and the rest of the boys waiting for me and my family as we took my father on his last ride and to his resting place. Seeing all those blue lights showed me you cared about what you did. You touched so many families as you took them and there loved one to their final resting place. Now we will return the favor to you. Rest in peace my friend and we will take care of the rest from here!

I had the pleasure of working with Rob and will always remember his smile. He was a great person and a great cop and will be so missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Robert's passing this morning. I met Robert through Kevin Keelan and a shared passion for golf. Unfortunatley I was only able to play with Robert a few times in tournaments and the one thing I remember is his infectious smile and personality. We would play as a group in the Paul Morgan tournament, I am on the far right in the picture. It is hard to tell from the picture on this site but it rained on us most of the day during that tournament and the only one with a smile from ear to ear is Robert. That is the same smile I see when I look at the rest of the photos and that is what I will always remember when I think about Robert.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your entire family in this time of loss.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not ever understand why they left this earth so soon, but little by little we begin to remember not just that they died but that they lived. And that their lives gave us memories too beautiful to forget!
Always remember his smile and especially his laugh, Pauls laugh has gotten me through many days. You will gain your strength from your children and the rest will come with time, lots and lots of time.
Always, Dianna

Tiffany, Madison and Austin. Just want you to know that your Husband and dad was very well loved. I can remember how happy he always was when he talked about the three of you, "which was all the time". I know it is hard, but please be strong and remember there are a lot of people who love and will not forget the three of you. Love, Momma Mack.

Tiffany, my family and I are praying for you and your family, although there is nothing we can say that will ease the pain, it is very clear to see thru comments and photos that Robert enjoyed his life with his family and friends. I truly regret him being taken so quickly from you and the kids and we will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.
The greatest strength of the Taylor family is their love for one another. I first met Robert years ago. I was married to a nephew of Margie's and got a warm welcome into the family. As anyone that knows the Taylor's there is always room for one more in there hearts. They are a wonderful family and all who have been blessed over the years to know each of them knows that they are very close.
Robert always had a smile for everyone and will be missed by all.

Tiffany, Madison, and Austin. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My wish for you all is that these memories and thoughts will bring you some peace.
God Bless you all and God Bless Rob. He will be sorely missed by us all. You are in my prayers.
My greatest wish is that I could take away your pain and sorrow. But I can't. Sgt. Robert Taylor has left behind a legacy that most people can only hope for. A compassionate man who served our community for over two decades. And he always did it with a smile. A family man who always knew family is without a doubt the greatest gift the good Lord can bestow upon a man? Tiffany, Madison and Austin these words may just be words now, but in time you will see how much your CCSO family will put our words in action and give a hero ever honor fitting for the services. I hope we make you proud of how we show our great amount of respect and admiration for Sergeant Robert Taylor #289.
I pray the Lord will hold your hands and fill your hearts with his presence and love.
God bless you. I am so sorry for your loss of a great Husband and Dad. I am sorry for the loss to our CCSO family and community.
Sergeant Robert Taylor - Rest in Peace

As in the words of "Candle on The Water", I believe this...."A cold and Friendless tide has found you. Don't let the Stormy Water Pull you down. He will paint a ray of hope around you. Circling in the air, guided by your prayers!" I am there for you for whatever you may need. Whether it is just to make you laugh or sit and cry with you. He was a wonderful friend to you, lover, and father. He will never be far from you and he will live on through your beautiful children and your memories. May Robert and your Mother be shining down on you and sending feelings of peace. God bless you and your family!
